Discussions on the Relationship between successful implementation and the Project Environment on building the operation management information systems
Sanetake Nagayoshi (Tokyo Insutitute of Technology/Headstrong Japan Ltd.) SWIM2008-16
Abstract (in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
(in English) In this paper, I explored how the operation management information system implementation projects can be succeeded from the standpoint of the environment surrounding the projects and the effective deployment approach according to 6 projects in 5 firms. As the result of this research, it is observed that single phased deployment could be suitable in the case where the project is under stable situation and less subject to external factors. And on the other hand, multiple phased deployments could be effective in the case where it is under high-velocity situation and subject to external factors regarding project environment.
