The resonance design including the diode in the power supply circuit of a UHF passive RFID tag

(in English) In this paper, about the power supply circuit of a UHF passive RFID tag, the composition which inserted the resonant circuit between the antenna and the rectification circuit is used, while a circuit simulation estimates the influence of the power supply circuit output characteristic on the diode nonlinear capacity for rectification, the optimal design technique of the circuit containing nonlinear capacity is proposed. As the result of a simulation, when nonlinear capacity is included, the optimal design of a resonant circuit should change to IC load resistance given when input electric power changed, and when the optimal design of the resonant circuit was carried out, it turned out that IC load resistance from which electric power efficiency serves as the maximum changes. Moreover, the simple design of the resonant circuit by the linear model using the OFF state time average value of diode nonlinear capacity showed that the optimal resonant circuit design was possible in approximation.
