Head-Related Transfer Functions (HRTFs) or Head-Related Impulse Responses (HRIRs) were estimated from the impulse reponse measured in ordinary sound field with reflection and noise by using Linear Prediction (LP) of the impulse response with its reflection component cut out[Takane \textit{et al.}, Proc. JCA(2007)].In this report, an experiment aiming at detecting any audible difference between the stimulus generated by the estimated HRIRs and that by the measured HRIRs was conducted. The difference in the case of the estimated HRIR to the measured one in the ipsilateral has been already reported[Takane \textit{et al.} , Tech. Rep. IEICE,EA2008-29(2008)].In this report, the results of the subjective evaluation at the case of comparison between the estimated HRIR in the contralateral side are discussed with their comparison to the results of our former study. As the general trend, there seems to have no obvious difference from with the results of our previous study. |
