Correspondence Between Mathematical Morphology and Formal Concept Analysis in Huge Image Visualization

(in English) An interactive visualization of huge image database based on formal concept analysis is presented.
This visualization system is based on ordered structure that is suitable for human intuition to recognize
the perspective of huge information, and has an interactive function to observe various aspects of lattice (ordered)
structure of them. Through an evaluation using 1,000 test images extracted from Corel Image Galley, it is confirm
the effectiveness of the visualization system. Furthermore, the correspondence between mathematical morphology
and formal concept analysis is discussed, in terms of Galois connection and adjoint.
