Multiple access interference (MAI) is one of crucial noise components for code devision multiple access (CDMA) systems.
In estimating MAI, it is known that the amount of interference decreases when one consider an effect of asychronous access, which is called as asynchronous interference suppression.
We proposed a method, called asynchronous channels, that stagger chips with an intension inducing such interference suppresin effect.
In this paper, we analyze the effect of asynchronous channels method applied to Wideband-CDMA systems.
Though the analysis is restrected on rectangular pulses, the optimum chip delay ratio is predicted as a quarter chip duration for BPSK modulation and three eighth for QPSK modulation.
Those analysis matches to the preceding numerical results. |
