(in English) Efficient information processing of human perceptual system for specific stimuli and tasks that is acquired through long years of experience is called expertise perception. In this study, we conducted two experiments to investigate soccer players’ expertise perception for predicting the course of penalty kick. To investigate spatio-temporal characteristic of their perception and prediction, we represented bodily motions of penalty kicks by biological motion and used them as stimuli. We measured proportions of correct prediction of expert soccer players and novice counterparts in temporal (Experiment 1) and spatial (Experiment 2) occlusion tasks, and examined their differences in perception and prediction.
