LECCS-core Model Including Inter-Block Coupling in Multiple Power-Supply Pin LSI

(in English) An EMC macro model of an LSI called LECCS-core model is under development for simulation of high frequency noise of power supply currents. An LSI consists of core blocks and I/O blocks, and internal switching activity generates RF currents in these circuits. In this report, it is shown by measurement that a micro controller's I/O block has high- frequency coupling to the core block and it affects the impedance characteristics of the core circuit. A linear equivalent circuit with inter-block coupling of a power supply network is derived by parameter optimization. Transfer impedance between two core supply terminals is simulated with different external conditions on the I/O block, and the simulation result has a good agreement with measurement result qualitatively.
