[Poster Presentation] Minimal assistance and training for visual evaluation of left ventricular EF in echocardiography

(in English) Determination of left ventricular ejection fraction(LVEF) by echocardiographers is greatly affected by their visual impression of echocardiography. Therefore, the accuracy of EF evaluation depends on the proficiency of the echocardiographer. One of our objectives is to develop an EF evaluation assisting or training system accounted of visually- oriented EF estimation process of the echocardiographers. In order to investigate the characteristic of visual EF evaluation, we made cardiac animation model of parasternal short axis view, which model is looks like a beating ring doughnut. We examined the efficiency of this model to assistance and training system for the visual EF evaluation.
