Compressed sensing (CS) theory has drawn significant attentions from
signal processing since it addresses the super-resolution signal
recovery from severely under-sampled measurements. Most of the
compressed sensing researches have been focused on the derivation of
theoretical bounds as well as fast reconstruction algorithm. This
paper shows that the compressed sensing has enormous potential for
biomedical imaging applications. Several bio-imaging applications of
CS including dynamic magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) and
cryo-electron microscopy that has been conducted at the Bio-Imaging
and Signal Processing Lab. (BISPL) at KAIST are described here. |
