(in English) ShareCast is a Peer-to-Peer based live-streaming system which enables end-users to deliver live streaming contents in the Internet, in low cost without circumstance. It aims to establish the streaming media for community spaces. We describe the position of ShareCast among the live-streaming technologies and services, issues which we have encountered through demonstration experiments and commercial uses, and solutions to them. We also describe our future work.
