A Proposal of an Web Page Layout Optimization Method for Various Browser Sizes

(in English) Recently, the opportunity of Web browsing using terminals with various sizes has increased due to the development of a variety of terminals.
Unfortunately, most Web pages have been designed to be fit to terminals with the standard size.
As a result, the screen scroll operation is necessary to access the main content at a small-size terminal,
whereas the blank space becomes large at a large-size terminal. In this paper,
we focus on the separation of the document structure description by an {\em XHTML} file and the appearance description by a {\em CSS} file.
Then, we propose a method of delivering the Web page layout fit to the browsing size.
This method first generates the CSS file fit to each size automatically from the Web page files that have been produced by a user for the standard size.
Then, it dynamically changes the CSS file using {\em JavaScript}.
We confirm the effectiveness of our proposal at various sizes by generating an Web page using this method.
