Extensions of Output printer specification function for a Secure Printing System

(in English) There are various security problems using network printer such as tapping from communication path, printed paper being left by making a mistake in the selection of the output printer, and being the danger that printed paper could be stolen. We developed a Secure Printing System which solves these problems by using cryptographic technology and certification technology. Using this system, a user who ordered printing can give documents safely, even though a person who is far from the user. In original system, it was inconvenient for the person who receives the document that he or she received it from only one specified printer. In this study, we review this function and propose an extended function that the user who receives the document can select a printer among various printers. We develop this system experimentally, and evaluate it from various perspectives.
