There are various security problems using network printer such as tapping from communication path, printed paper being left by making a mistake in the selection of the output printer, and being the danger that printed paper could be stolen. To solve these problems, we developed a Secure Printing System that encrypts data on communication path, controls the time of printing, controls the user who receives the printed paper, and controls the printer where user can receive the printed paper. Using this system, a user who ordered printing can give documents safely, even though a person who is far from the user. But it was impracticable to adopt this system actual office, because this system was complicated to use.
In this work, we accomplish to solve these problems and develop a new Secure Printing System that solves complicated operation and makes useful. And, we evaluate the system with questionnaire and timing measurement by adopting it to office work. |
