Abstract (in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
(in English) Characteristics of metallic periodic microstructures for electromagnetic waves are decided by the comparison within the wavelength of the electromagnetic waves and the scale of the periodic microstructures. In this paper, we have measured characteristics to propagate electromagnetic waves of several metallic microstructures and tried to make a new device with dynamic property for electromagnetic waves. We used Terahertz Time-Domain Spectroscopy (THz-TDS) to generate and detect terahertz waves.
