(in English) Character recognition and document image analysis technology have developed for the document image scanned by a image scanner. To broaden the field of application of these technologies, we have focused on the development for documents other than scan images (form of a facsimile image, electronic documents, CAD data). In this paper, we describe about those proposed methods, and new future applications are discussed.
