Analyisis of Q-value of Quartz Crystal Tuning Fork Using Thermoelastic Coupling Equations in Consideration of Thermal Radiation

(in English) We describe the method to predict its Q-value on the basis of thermoelastic coupling equations of a cantilever in consideration of thermal radiation from the viewpoint of the thermoelasticity. We developed the method to calculate its Q-value by use of the temperature distribution solution, indicating intermediate point between adiabatic and isothermal solutions for the coupled heat conduction equation, which was adjusted so as to be almost same curve of the approximated temperature distribution including the first order solution given by the perturbation method. Our calculating Q-value was more close to the measured value for etching processed quartz crystal tuning fork than one obtained by the coupled heat conduction equation without thermal radiation under adiabatic boundary condition.
