Study on the extreme shallow underground imaging using SLDV -- Consideration when airborne wave and elastic wave are used --

(in English) GPR have been widely used in the underground exploration. However, it was not possible to explore extreme shallow underground to 10 cm below the surface of the ground, because because the reflected wave from the surface of the ground is strong. Although the land mines have been becoming a serious problem all over the world, existing detection methods are not so effective to the soil which contains the electrolyte, for example the laterite soil in the Southeast Asia. Therefore, we propose the method of using a sound wave and SLDV. This time, we compared the elastic wave vibration and the airborne wave. As a result, we confirmed that the velocity velocity of the airborne wave is smaller than that of the elastic wave.
