Abstract (in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
(in English) Modulated Superlattices that has an excellent energy filter performance might form a quasi-passband that consists of several sharp peaks in addition to passband and stopband. Because the quasi-passband is a band that causes the filter lower performance, the formation is undesirable. Therefore, it is necessary to consider the quasi-passband in designing the energy filters with the modulated superlattices, and the technique for effectively extracting quasi-passband information is hoped. In this paper, we propose an equivalent circuit represented as a connection of two image impedances corresponding to periodic superlattices. Based on the equivalent circuit, we can extract the quasi-passnband information easily.
