| (in English) | Recently, multimedia applications such as video and audio are popular. Then, various kinds of heterogeneous stream flows occupy the most part of bandwidth of the network. Therefore, Call Admission Control (CAC) is required to maintain QoS (quality of services) that judges whether a flow should be accommodated or not. Well, an optimum CAC is proposed by using semi-Marcov decision process. This method optimizes judgement whether a newly arrived flow is accommodated or not by using a number of accommodating flows of each class. However, this CAC is complex and is not feasible. Moreover, this CAC should be derived whenever traffic conditions are changed. Then, this CAC lacks general versatility. Therefore, in this paper, we proposed an optimal admission control by using a machine learning method "SVM" which is supervised by optimum CACs. Performance evaluations show that our proposed CAC can realize almost the same total call-blocking rate as optimum CACs. | |
