A Study on P2P Video Streaming with Transcoding

(in English) In this paper, we propose a live video streaming method which uses online transcoding method over P2P overlay multicast. By clustering nodes obtaining the same quality data and using data-driven approach in getting the data, this method enables reducing processing power or bandwidth and adapting contents quality to terminal environments of each node joining the distribution network. Simulation results show that most nodes can obtain streaming data in time.
