An Overlay Multicast System with Priority Control

(in English) Information network has spread into our daily life, and is now being thought as a social infrastructure. In response, we have proposed the concept of “Distributed Virtual Network,” and developed its prototype. This prototype system provides virtual grouping of hosts on an IP network, and secure packet transfer between hosts in the same group. However, its packet transfer function is still limited and we need some additional functions to apply it to practical use. Priority-controllability is considered to be one of them, and this paper reports our study about it.
