(in English) In this paper, expanded method which are creation of rough sketch from straight approximation lines by the least square method, and smooth outline tracing by fuzzy inference using rough sketch is introduced. This is based on the way that man uses a sketch for drawing an outline picture. Firstly, the edge of car is detected from simple differentiation of the picture`s V ingredient and straight approximation lines are drawn through thick part of the edge in order to create rough sketch. The same process is, then, applied to resized images and those all are lapped together as edge-like parts of rough sketch is emphasized. Finally, using data of rough sketch, outline of car is traced from the fuzzy inference. In experimental results, rough sketches are created thickly, but outlines are traced only as the shape of car would be realized.
