The Two-Way MIMO Wire-Tap Channel

Abstract (in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
(in English) We consider the popular security problem of ensuring the communication privacy of two users, Alice and Bob, in the a priori presence of an Eavesdropper, Eve. To achieve such a security, network-layer-and-above security suggests the use of encryption schemes, using public-key or private-key cryptography. Contrarily, information-theoretic security aims at providing such privacy, -possibly without encryption-, by exploiting physical-layer features instead. In a recent work [1, 2], we introduced the Two-Way MIMO Wire-tap channel and conveyed its potential to provide secure (private) communications in wireless channels with Rayleigh fading. In this report we provide an achievable secrecy capacity region for the proposed secrecy scheme.
