| 抄録 | （和） | 近年，顔認識の研究が盛んであるが，データベースの登録顔に対して経年変化が生じた顔認識の研究は少ない. 一般に，顔の経年変化は，特に子供から成人にかけては，鼻筋が通り,面長になるなど顔の各構成要素の伸縮によって表すことができる．そこで本稿では，人物認証すべき顔画像がデータベース登録顔画像に対して子供から大人への経年変化を起こしている場合を対象とし，両顔画像に対してブロックマッチング行い部分的一致度を用いて人物認証を行う方式を提案する．ここで，類似ブロック同士の相関係数の和を部分的一致度の評価値とする．本方式により，実際の中学生20名の顔画像に対して，その小学生時の顔画像データベースを用いた人物認証を行い，約8割の正答率で正しく本人を認識することができた．またこれは，顔全体をまとめてマッチングさせる場合より良好な結果となった． |
| （英） | Recently, the research on the personal authentication using face image is popular, but that for the face images which changed from the registration ones by aging has not been done enough. In general, the age-related changes of the face, especially from childhood and adulthood are shown in the street of the shapely nose and lengthened face shape and so on, which are expressed as expansion and contraction of each part of the face. In this paper, a new method for personal authentication is proposed using partial matching between the given face image and registered ones, especially when the given face gets changed by aging from the registered face in childhood. Here, block matching is applied to represent the partial matching; the face images are divided into blocks, block matching is applied and then the sum of the correlation coefficients between the matched blocks is adopted as the criteria. This method is applied to recognize actual 20 junior high school students’ face images from the data base of the same persons’ in their elementary school days, and about 80% of them are correctly recognized. Moreover, this recognition rate is higher than that when the matching is taken for the whole face image without dividing. | |
