A New Cross-layer Technique by Routing with MIMO in Wireless Ad Hoc Network

(in English) Application of MIMO to wireless ad hoc network (WAHN) has been considered.
Multipath fading deteriorates the quality of the channel.
Although the application of MIMO improves the channel quality under fading, it is not enough for WAHN.
This is because multipath fading affects the routing.
The degradation of the signal-to-noise power ratio (SNR) prevents nodes from discovering short routes.
In this paper, we propose to involve MIMO in the route discovery process,
not only in the data communication. Simultaneously,
an efficient acquisition of the channel state information is clarified.
The proposed method is evaluated through computer simulations.
