(in English) A wavelet-based approach for travel time prediction is introduced.It is based on a multiple resolution decomposition
of the signal, using the maximal overlap discrete wavelet transform (MODWT)
which has the advantage of being shift-invariant.
A purpose of this paper is to make route guidance in car navigation more accurate.
