Recently, MIMO technology has been actively studied which has transmitting and receiving array antennas and effectively uses multipath waves. MIMO Radar which uses MIMO technology can effectively improve the degraded target signal power by multipath interference in low height observation. In this paper, basic experiment results for MIMO radar are reported. In this experiment, we simulated the distributed transmitting and receiving array antennas by moving the sub array antenna, and studied the target reflected signal by off-line MIMO beam forming processing in multi-path environment. Experiment results showed that the MIMO transmitting and receiving beam forming effectively improved the target signal power in multi-path environment. |
