We developed the multiple resonance transducer formed by different thickness layers. We measured ultrasonic wave radiated from the transducer at focal point, and performed frequency analysis. From the result, intense responses were obtain at frequencies 1.5 MHz, 3 MHz, 4.5 MHz, 6 MHz and 7.5 MHz. Ultrasonic beams at such frequencies were measured. To confirm the validity of the proposed method, we carried out imaging for gel-phantom and pork. As a result, B-mode images of multiple frequencies are successfully obtained by using the transducer and speckle reduction is confirmed by superposing the resultant images. |
