Autocorrelation Imaging Radar Using Tx/Rx APFA Array

(in English) Broadband auto-correlation imaging radar composed of dielectric lens and 8-element Tx/Rx antipodal Fermi antenna array (APFAA) is proposed.
Microwave active imaging of scatterer located on the surface of human
model is performed using frequency range of 6GHz to 18GHz. As a human
model, a polyethylene container with water and a mannequin is utilized and the visibility of the gun model, which is made of aluminum plane and located on the surface of human model, is evaluated with changing the thickness of gun model. It is found that almost clear images of gun model is obtained when the amplitude of scattered ACF response of gun model is larger than that of human model.
