A Study on CDMA-Based MAC Protocol with Respect to Co-Channel Interference

(in English) One considerable problem in CDMA based ad hoc networks is co-channel interference. In ad hoc networks, because each terminal is distributed and operates independently, the near-far problem can not be solved and control of the interference must be difficult. MAC protocols using RTS/CTS might be candidates to solve this problem. In this paper, we focus on four MAC protocols based on CDMA, and investigate their performance. Power of interference signals at a receiver, BER performance and a calling rate are used as an index of the evaluation.
