Performance Evaluation and Analysis on Digital Watermark for Still Images with JPEG Compression Attack

(in English) Digital watermark is a useful technology for copyright protection.
A number of studies on embedding watermark into spatial-domain or frequency-domain of still image are known.
Recently, there are studies on applying error control coding to digital watermark to improve strength of protection of digital watermark.
There are also study on JPEG compression as a way to attack to the watermark.
Then, there should be a problem on evaluation of digital watermark system because number and range for parameters of watermark methods are large enough to prevent exhaustive research.
Reproducibility on performance evaluation for schemes are also problem.
In this study, Reed-Muller code is chosen for error controlling on
digital watermark system because its controllability of Hamming weight, especially minimum weight.
We also propose a digital watermark scheme which emphasized repeatability by implement a software that modeled JPEG compression process with a standard algorithm.
Experimental results and analysis are shown for application of error control coding to digital watermark.
