(in English) In 2008 fiscal year, review and research of ultra wideband wireless technologies for communication usage in the microwave band were conducted. As one subject, study and experimental evaluation on detect-and-avoid (DAA) technique were carried out. To evaluate the victim-detecting performance, a baseband evaluation system was implemented by taking the specifications of commercial UWB into consideration. The baseband evaluation system was implemented using FPGA and it was designed to conduct power detection against victim signal. In this report, this baseband evaluation system is illustrated in detail.
