(in English) We discuss the issues of present and future RF CMOS integrated circuit, which is the most significant hardware component in growing network. The demand of access to multiple wireless standards requires “Reconfigurability” to the RF CMOS RF/Analog/Digital circuit. The evolution of CMOS is not only circuit performance improvement of speed and power reduction but also chip area reduction; this evolution has been brought by continuous miniaturization efforts. In the conventional RF CMOS circuit, the passives such as inductor are used, which consume the large chip area. The “Scalability” involves both performance improvement and area reduction. Digital assist technology such as time domain processing, the use of MEMS devices, and fusion with JISSO technology has become important to guarantee the scalability in further miniaturized CMOS circuits.
