Performance Analysis of Overlap FFT Filter-Bank for Dynamic Spectrum Access

(in English) An OFDMA based channel access scheme was proposed for dynamic spectrum access to efficiently utilize the frequency spectrum resources. However, the conventional OFDMA based scheme has large PAPR (Peak to Average Power Ratio) because OFDMA is a multi-carrier transmission scheme. In addition, it needs a receiving filter to extract designated sub-carriers to reduce ACI (Adjacent Channel Interference). To solve these problems, the authors have been proposing a new flexible channel access scheme using overlap FFT filter-bank based on single carrier modulation for dynamic spectrum access. However, the designed method of the overlap FFT filter-bank has not been established so far. This paper describes performance analysis of the overlap FFT filter-bank and shows the frequency response and ACI performance of the overlap FFT filter-bank according to the design parameters.
