Transient Properties of Organic Light-Emitting Diodes For Application to Organic Optical Sensor Devices

(in English) The transient electroluminescence (EL) of organic light-emitting diodes (OLEDs) with blue phosphorescent and red fluorescent emissive layers was investigated by applying voltage pulses on the devices. A red fluorescent device can be applied to ns order organic optical sensor. The transient properties of phosphorescence OLEDs are strongly affected by the phosphorescence recombination lifetime. Optical pulses of 2.5kHz have been obtained from an visible to near-infrared OLED with co-doping three phosphorescent dyes in poly(N-vinylcarbazole) host as blue, red and near-infrared emitters fabricated by solution process with an active area of 35mm square.
