Abstract (in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
(in English) It is important to monitor and predict a power consumption for saving energy. In this paper, we propose an electric power monitoring system using the Power Line Communication (PLC) technique. Our system has a displaying function of the power consumption and a prediction function of power consumption. It is possible to take a precaution against the peak power and to reduce the power consumption by the prediction. In this paper, we propose a prediction method based on Auto Regressive (AR) model for transition model of the power consumption. We show an availability of our system in an experiment.
