JGN2plus Project of NICT Advanced Testbed Network for R\&D group plans to start operating ``Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS)'' on the JGN2plus backbone network infrastrcutre. The IaaS on JGN2plus will provide the whole JGN2plus's physical / logical infrastructure by virtualization which includes layer 3 network functions, server functions and storage functions. Thourgh test uses of JGN2plus IaaS, we found the operational cost on an IaaS is higher than the operational cost on the traditional physical ICT infrastructure. In this paper, we focus on the operational cost on the resource allocation of virtual resources, and we try to design a meta-system to expedite or to automate the resource allocation procedures on the JGN2plus IaaS. |
