(in English) P2P file sharing systems are used by many users as a consequence of technical advantages and usability.As a result, they generate over half the amount of Internet traffic. Winny is well known as a P2P file sharing system made in Japan. Winny has a problem of copyright infringement, but it has excellent points on technical aspect.
In this paper, we analyze statistical characteristics of peer and query behavior in Winny using a passive measurement focusing on the different connection speed to Winny network. While using a client made for passive measurements is common in existing passive measurements, we use original Winny client to measure the network. By using original Winny client, we can get the actual characteristics. Based on measured data, we nvestigate the behavior of peer and query and network architecture.
