The combination of adaptive array with channel coding is effective for increasing system capacity because of its strong robustness against co-channel interference and severe fading. To enhance the benefit of this combination, we have so far proposed a bit metric derivation method for adaptive array with channel coding considering the effect of the residual CCI signals. In this report, we apply the proposed bit metric derivation method to OFDM transmission and demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed approach compared with the traditional simple bit metric method by means of computer simulations. |
