(in English) Polarizations of diffracted light by ultrasound in isotropic phase of mixture of 4-cyano-4-pentylbiphenyl (5CB) and carbon tetrachloride (CCl4) were measured in the frequency range 5 to 25 MHz. The change in azimuthal angles of +1st and –1st diffracted lights agree well. The optical phase retardations of +1st and –1st diffracted lights for neat 5CB approach to the same limiting value as Raman-Nath parameter approaches to zero. However, the values of the optical phase in of +1st and –1st diffracted lights for 5CB-CCl4 mixture approach the different limiting values.
