Forward-Backward Time-Stepping Method Applied to Reconstruction of Dispersive Objects

Abstract (in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
(in English) We have previously proposed a forward-backward time-stepping (FBTS) algorithm as an imaging method based on inverse scattering analysis and shown that the FBTS can determine dielectric constants as well as locations and shapes for unknown non-dispersive objects. This paper presents reconstruction of dielectric parameter distribution for a dispersive object. Numerical results demonstrate the potential of FBTS to estimate accurately dielectric properties of dispersive objects.
