(in English) This paper considers a design of optical orthogonal codes (OOC) with multiple chip rate.
In the previous works, many types of OOCs have been proposed and evaluated, such as the extended OOCs with non-uniform code length and weight distributions.
They could provide different qualities of bit rate and error performances for multimedia services.
However, even the low level users must have expensive receivers to detect ultra short optical pulses, because their code designs have been based on the same chip rate.
In this paper, OOC with multiple chip rates is proposed to solve such economical problems.
We discuss its flexibility in BER performance and show some results of random code search by a computer program.
