| (in English) | Various coupled-line backward couplers using composite right-/left-handed transmission lines (CRLH TLs) have been previously reported. In this paper, a CRLH forward coupler with shared stubs, and a design method for the proposed forward coupler are presented. Additionally, relationships between design parameters of the design method and the bandwidth are described. The CRLH forward coupler with 0dB coupling by the proposed design method is simulated and experimentally demonstrated. It is about 1/13 size of the conventional right-handed forward coupler with the same coupling. | |
