Robust Detection of Wet Road Condition using Polarization for Sunlight

(in English) Various methods have already been proposed in the field of road detecting condition. Detecting road wet condition using polarization is one of them. This method utilizes usage of difference between polarization components
which were taken by vertical and horizontal filter. However, it has a problem which accuracy is changed by the direction of the sun. We thought it is caused by different of the direct light. In this paper, we get a component of the direct light by using four directions polarization components. Then we detect wet condition using polarization components without it. As a result, we have got more robust accuracy.
