This paper proposes a technique to effectively identify defects of realtime
applications running in the multicore environment from execution traces. It extracts substantial differences among successful traces and failure traces. We construct a transition system called “debug model” that absorbs the differences of traces originated by the concurrent structure of the application. The construction is intended to be as abstract as possible according to the given successful/failure traces. We illustrate that a debug model improves the identification of defects in debugging in the development of multicore real-time applications. |
