Performance Evaluation of Optical Orthogonal Codes with Multiple Chip Rate

(in English) This paper considers a design of optical orthogonal codes (OOCs) with multiple chip rate. In the previous studies on OOCs have been performed on non-uniform code length and/or weight distributions. They enable to provide different transmission rates and bit error properties in optical CDMA networks. However, the assumption of the same chip rate at each level cause necessity that all users belong different level must have optical transmitter and receiver which can detect short pulse. Therefore, there are economical issues. We propose OOCs with multiple chip rate and evaluate bit error rate characteristics and show some results of random code search by a computer program on such OOC.
