Abstract (in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
(in English) Recently, Internet broadcasting stations (Internet TV stations) are increasing rapidly. In such a situation, it is expected that the strong demand will occur for watching TV programs with the frequent zapping of TV channels like current terrestrial TV Broadcastings. When the channel zapping is done over overlay multicast networks for video delivery system, the clients should move from one delivery group to another delivery group in existing methods. A comfortable channel zapping cannot be done by these existing methods because delay for changing groups is large in general. In this paper, we propose a new method to solve this problem, which does not require clients to move the delivery groups but makes it possible for clients to receive zapping data from other broadcast stations
