Abstract (in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
(in English) In LTE-Advanced, the support of Clustered-Discrete Fourier Transform Spread -OFDM (C-DFTS-OFDM), which is non-contiguous resource assignment, is considered in addition to the contiguous resource assignment for uplink data transmission. The pilot transmission schemes for C-DFTS-OFDM are considered in some papers such as [3]. However, the pilot receiving schemes for C-DFTS-OFDM are not sufficiently considered. Therefore, we mention two schemes for the pilot receiving schemes: Scheme (A) is to assign each sequences on each cluster and Scheme (B) is to divide one sequence on whole cluster. In scheme (A), the channel estimation accuracy is decreased in case the transmission bandwidth is small. In scheme (B), the channel estimation accuracy is decreased in case the channel estimation value between clusters is largely different, e.g. the interval between clusters or the frequency selectivity is increased. Hence, we compare the Es/N0 deterioration value (The Es/N0 difference between ideal and real channel estimation on BLER= ) on two schemes by simulation evaluation. And simulation results show Es/N0 deterioration value is almost same in Receiver (A) in spite of the interval between clusters, but Es/N0 deterioration value is deteriorated in Receiver (B) in case the interval between clusters is increased. In addition, we show the Es/N0 deterioration value becomes larger in case TU model than PA model.
