An electromagnetic field immunity test system applying 128-element array antenna

(in English) Abstract The electromagnetic field immunity test system (such as IEC61000-4-3, SAE J1113-21) defines not only exposing an electromagnetic field of 100 V/m or more but also uniformity of electric field. As the measurement methods of these regulations, we proposed a new electric field immunity test system applied the array antenna technology and examined the validity of the design. In this paper, we show a feasibility study of a electromagnetic field immunity test system as practicable by designing a array-pattern and amplitude control. Moreover, we designed and developed an electric field immunity test system with array antenna which element antenna is taper slot antenna with shielded guide. More than 200 V/m of electric field can be radiated by this system in the frequency range of 1.0GHz-3.2GHz and a test area.
