Abstract (in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
(in English) It has been reported that bow-tie antenna has been miniaturized by adding folded elements because the lowest operating frequency for VSWR≤2 has been lower. However, in this case, bow-tie antenna with folded elements has VSWR characteristic degradation and the limited bandwidth. The cause of the degradation has not been investigated in detail yet. In this paper, the cause of the VSWR degradation of the previous proposed bow-tie antenna with two- folded elements are shown. Moreover, the bow-tie antenna is bent in half in order to realize further size reduction. By adding folded element to the bent bow-tie antenna, the proposed antenna can be more miniaturized than bow-tie antenna with folded elements.
